Today's rock stars are:

Ichiro Suzuki, Center Fielder, Seattle Mariners
"Tomo Ohka preceded Ichiro Suzuki by two years and Suzuki had the mega-buzz of a rock star."
Toronto Star

New employees, Carlson Marketing
"'Instead of starting with the TV ad, you've got to start with the website, you've got to start with the loyalty program, you've got to start with your recognition and rewards program,' Schroer said. 'All the tactics before that followed the lead of the TV commercial - those are the ones the clients are looking for to have really creative ideas in them. And that's why we hired all these rock stars.'"
Star Tribune (Minneapolis)

Ted "Murhpman" Murphy, CEO, PayPerPost
"...RockStartup," the self-produced reality series that Murphy is pitching to TV networks. The show fashions 'the Murphman' and the rest of the PayPerPost team as entrepreneurial 'rock stars,'"

PayPerPost is an advertising service that pays people to hide advertisements within the body of a blog post. Pathetic.

But not as pathetic as all the generic, disposable tooth-brushes I went through before I discovered the Sonicare Elite E9500 Custom Care System. With two brush head sizes and two speeds (both Max and Gentle depending on what I ate that day) I've achieved optimal results. My dentist told me that the Sonicare System might just put him out of business!
